Hello! I’m Arlee.

(she/they)

I’ve been a yoga instructor since 2019, a Certified Nutritionist since 2023, and a Postpartum Doula since 2025. I’m a student at MSU Denver pursuing a pathway to become a Registered Dietitian IBCLC to better help nourish perinatal families in the near future.

Learn More About My Journey, And My Expertise

I started Ananda Nourishment to merge my passion for the perinatal population, education, yoga/ayurveda and nutrition.

After having a difficult first birthing experience, I knew that the perinatal population needed more access to support and education, which is how I found myself going down this pathway.

I’m a mom of 2 wonderful children, and with polar opposite pregnancy and birth experiences, I truly believe that every pregnant person and their families should feel supported, nourished, and confident, and I want to honor that families know the best decisions for them. As a one time cesarean birther and one time VBAC birther, I have so much compassion for the perinatal period, and want to share that with my clients.

I am proud to say that I strive to create more equity in the perinatal population. I aim to be inclusive of non-traditional families, use language that feels right for your family, and provide resources to providers who understand your unique dynamics. Feel free to inquire if you have any further questions.

With love,
Arlee

My Postpartum Doula training

is DONA approved

I’ve been studying yoga and Ayurveda for over 15 years. Certified for 6+

I truly believe that western based science and eastern based science can merge

Not only am I a trained professional, but I have lived experience as a parent – not any parent but a 1 time c section, one time unmedicated vaginal birth (VBAC)

Inclusive of “nontraditional” family types,, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive

I consider myself forever the student, learning from my families while sharing what I’ve learned along the way

I’m a gentle parent, Montessori mom myself, so I lead with curiosity and compassion, leaving behind the judgment and authoritarian approach

Based in Colorado, serving families across the front range

If you’re ready to feel supported, or have questions about whether or not any of my services are right for you, do not hesitate to reach out for a consult or a meet and greet. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll help you find who is!

"I found Arlee in a mom group when she was talking about her difficulties with anxiety surrounding pregnancy. After hearing about her story and somebody later telling me she worked with pregnancy and fourth trimester families, I reached out and told her what I wanted. She taught me some breathing techniques and movement to help put my body at ease while I waited for my little baby to come"
